My headset recently broke (I sat on it) and I'm looking for a new one. Do your typical in earphones w/ mic work on CS:GO or do you have to get a proper headset?

It depends how serious you are with CS:GO.

They should work perfectly fine but I personally find that an over-ear headset is generally better for the directional sound compared to in-ear.

Im just getting into it really. Im playing comp but I've not been ranked yet. I might buy in ear untill i play abit more and see if I stick to it.

The headset did helpp me alot as I can get the turn on people flanking but a good headsets like £100. dont get paid till the end of the month XD

Logitech g430 is cheap and is a good buy. I used it until I got my senheisers and I use the g430 round my neck for the mic.

friends reccomended these... Corsair Raptor HS30-Y. Any good? he said they are Vgood value for money. look nice tbf

I have Razer Kraken Pros, they are pretty good they have lasted me a long time.

About 60 GBP / 90-95 USD
