I want to buy an xbox 360 E 250gb RGH/JTAG but a person I have contacted about KV's is saying that they are very problematic. I also keep reading all these different opinions about IP address banning and I am more confused than ever.
1) Does every console on your network get banned if they are online at the same time or if they are offline will they still get banned?
2) What is the best RGH/JTAG to get?
3) What type of KV is needed for an xbox 360 E?

1). Xbox never bans over the IP address
2). RGH > JTAG for price and I would recommend a rgh (trinity or corona either one)
3). Type 2

I mean.. I wouldn't, why risk it, but technically yes as long as the only thing linking them is a local address.

I know your problems caronas and newer can be harder to update dash so for a beginner with cash get a trinity
yes xbox bans the mac addresses on the ip if its certain enforcement officers who catch you I know cz I got a retail banned from it but you can easily stop it by spoofing your MAC address
xbox e takes a kv type 2 (most kvs are type 2 anyway)

For an added layer of protection? M$ can't simply ban because two consoles share the same foreign address. People use VPNs also to stop themselves from being hit offline while hosting, that's why I do it since I am 99% of the time host of games. But ask YOURself, how could you justify banning an entire college campus since they share the same IP as the kid using the RGH? You can't, and neither could microsoft, therefore they don't.
