CX600 isn't safe for a single 970 IMO, never mind SLI. It's a terrible PSU, don't get it. A good quality 650W unit would be wise for SLI, something like an EVGA 650GS. Oh, and make sure you're not over-paying for the RAM and/or motherboard. No need to spend more than $130 on motherboard, and $55 on RAM. You'll also want to grab a nice cooler to OC that 4690k. If you're not overclocking, grab a 4460 instead.

Well, the MSI board is FM2+ so it's not even compatible. The AsRock Z97 board.

Why don't you want a modular PSU? I could suggest one but I don't know your budget or currency?
