I love music, music is my way to cool down on a hard day, or a way to "turn up" (lol)

but I don't like the way "Artist" use their fame nowadays,

such as Nicki Minaj, Using her body for more attention or hits onto a song,
or Kanye West, How he proceeds himself as a god.

One Artist that i can actually call and Artist is "Sia" she refuses to show her face in interviews, She doesnt beg for fame.

The music is great, The lyrics are great, i just don't like how the artists are in general.

anyways here is a song i'd like you to hear

Kendrick lamar + Taylor Swift = ?

I don't even know i guess its whatever.

Here is an actual song that i LIKE

I don't dislike the current generation as I listen to country, rap, and even old classic rock. But I do love Lynyrd Skynyrd .

About Sia, couldn't it be said that her refusing to show herself is a way of creating more hype about her?

I'm not sure if I agree though. I think technology has a lot to do with this new influx of mega-stars.
If the internet and twitter had existed when Lynyrd Skynyrd were in their prime we might have a very different view of their band members.
We would know them more intimately and it would be easier for them to voice themselves.

People might have felt the same way about them as you do about Nicki Minaj.

I get it famous people can be annoying but when you wake up every day and your bank account has 8 zeros in (800000000) the money will get to you. You cant expect everyone to be like this Sia person.. its just not going to happen. The best thing you can do is just not read up on these people, or just not pay attention to them.

I like this song better than free bird, see were all different.

All rants about this generation is so pathetic, like the old generations had no downsides?
It's not like the music generation was better back in the day, also because there were no such thing as a music video (Well really back in the day). And in general it's more common to express yourself by your looks now than what it was like 20-30 years ago.

Kendrick lamar + Taylor Swift = Absolute Goddamn Perfection

Nonetheless, music has changed. For the better or worse? I don't think its that simple.
Personally, I enjoyed the pre-2009 country music more than the current dancy country music.

Categorizing all of the current music together is ignorant and unfair.
Each generation has amazing and shitty music, of course we remember the good music from previous generations.
