Based on fallout new Vegas how hard was it to max out at the time it released, really curious because I am hoping to pull 1080 @ 60 with a 970. thoughts?

fall out 4 wont be that hard to run, the graphics on it are not that advanced compared to some of the other new games.

You should be able to max it.

Considering that they made a big point about adding detail to every last little thing, I think it could be fairly intensive to run.

I would like to think cards on par with a GTX 980 could play the game at max settings 1080p.

Fallout isn't really one of the games meant for stunning graphic fidelity, Fallout is definitely a game you get for the gameplay.

I know fallout has been my favourite series ever and the graphics are never the best of the best, I personally think I will Be able to max it 1080 @ 60 but it will be workin hard for it.

970 should be able to do that, there might be a few more advanced features (similar to GTAV) that will need to be lowered/off, but looking at the trailer, it doesn't look too crazy and i'm sure that was near-maxxed.
