Logged on today and saw a message from Xbox Live saying I was given access to the beta.

Are they randomly giving out beta codes?

I did get a few referrals last night for the Preview Program maybe that's why I got an invite?

I did not sign up for a beta code. I mean I'm happy I got a code just trying to figure out if getting referrals last night got me the code or not cause I'm trying to get into the Preview Program.
