This will be a guide to increase FPS for everyone needing it.
If anyone has any ideas then please comment them and I will add them to the original post!
If there is any problems or spelling errors I will fix them once notified. This post can be made better if everyone helps out.

Cleaning Up Your PC

When your PC is low on space it will slow down performance!
I recommend uninstalling games and programs you no longer use.

You can either Format your disk or else clean it up your self.

Formatting Guide

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (I would reccomend reading this beforehand it's important!)

Plug your drive into the computer and, if necessary, into a wall outlet.
1.Open Windows Explorer, click the "Computer" section in the sidebar, and find your drive.

2.Right-click on the drive and choose "Format."

3.Under "File System," choose the file system you want to use. See the above section for more details on which one to pick.

4.Give your drive a name under "Volume Label," and check the "Quick Format" box.

5.Click "Start" to format the drive. You'll get a notification when it's done (it should only take a few seconds).
I DO NOT RECCOMEND DOING THIS BEFORE READING THE GUIDE ABOVE!

Self Cleaning Guide

You can easily uninstall games and programs without erasing content that you want to keep. Using programs like CCleaner makes cleaning up your computer easy. It has other features that helps keep your PC cleaning like deleting cache files.

I also use System Mecahnic, it is not as popular but I think it does a great job. It has a lot more features that include longer and more intense cleaning. E.g Disk defragment and repairing the hard drive.

Manual Way

1.Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.

2.Select a program, and then click Uninstall.

Cleaning up RAM and CPU

I use Razer Game Booster to do this for me as it takes a lot less time, select the processes you want to be kileld and then hit the 'boost now' button, or else you can set it up so once you open your game it does it for you.

Manual Way

1.Open up task manager
2.Right Click the process you want to end
3.Click end process

Overclocking will see a big performance increase without you even buying anything.

Of course, this is limited to hardware and by big performance, its going to be 5-10fps [ish] but its way more than what cleaning your PC will do.

That said, de-dusting your PC can effect performance since Nvidia cards boost their clock further the cooler they are.

Craig hit the nail on the head though. Upgrade hardware = better FPS.

So show me what you have to add to this and I will add it!

These things can only do so much and won't really help on new systems. Most PC's now have SSD's so defragging is out of the question (Might wanna add that in). People who game on PC are more than likely to have enough RAM so that they don't need to manually clean it.

The only thing in this list I'd recommend doing to help performance is updating the drivers.

As the only way to truly get FPS increases are through upgrading hardware.

BTW: Game Boosters don't work. May do something on old slow systems, but on today's tech, they are crap.

Thanks for replying Craig, it's just that new systems don't need as much of a boost as old systems do, I will add this into it though, thank you!
