What's up guys. Just wondering if anyone could help me out here.
I have an AMD ATHLON X2 240 (2.8 GHz)
Looking to upgrade.
other specs:
Dell Inspiron 570
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6670 1GB
RAM: 6 GB (4 x 1.5)

First off to start. What's your budget? And second, I would suggest making yourself a whole new pc, or at least a new mobo with an LGA1150 socket so you can pick up an i5, cause the AM3+ socket is basically dead.

Well, case needs upgraded, that's for sure. I'm assuming the PSU hasn't been upgraded before? If not, that'll need an upgrade to. It still might need an upgrade, even if it has been before already. RAM is meh, it'll do. CPU is lacking, as is GPU.
PSU and case upgrade first. Then, either GPU or CPU, up to you. With your motherboard, your best bet is an FX-4300 for gaming purposes, or FX-8320 for editing/rendering purposes. If you have a larger budget, then an Intel switch would be better, performance wise.
