So I want to build a simple gaming PC that can run Team Fortress 2, Day Z and Minecraft. My budget is 350 dollars USD but I dont need an OS because my friend is going to give me his and I will find a key myself. Thank you!

APU Build: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Nothing too crazy, but still not bad. It should handle most of those games nicely, unsure about DayZ though.
Everything's pretty decent, power supply isnt the best however ive known so many people to use those Corsair CX units and never herd anything bad about them.

The A10-7850K is a decent APU but they are coming out with new ones that will probably outperform the A10-7850K

I would change one thing maybe 16GBs of DDR3-1866 RAM it would still leave plenty of RAM for multitasking

^Nope. 8GB RAM is more than enough, especially since OP's budget is $350. 16GB RAM is not happening in a $350 budget. Not only that, but it'd be a waste since OP would not benefit at all from the extra RAM, but he'd also, in this case, lose performance with the slower, 1866MHz speed RAM, so I've no idea why you've recommended that at all.

RAM does not magically make your PC perform better. You said your last one was an alienware, so you were paying a premium just for the brand alone. Gaming laptops don't perform anywhere near as good as a comparable desktop built for the same price. 8gb will be plenty for him.

*buys Alienware*
*thinks 16GB RAM will help on laptop*
*suggests 16GB RAM for $350 rig*
okay. Go ahead and show us just how OP can get 16GB RAM within his budget then.
