Yeah, OK. We get it, that MVC badge is clearly very important to you. But couldn't you think of something a little bit more creative and informative to post? How does an MVC badge hold any merit if you accomplished it by writing "looks cool, cant wait!" on every news post?

I agree with this rant, can't wait for the responses!
Most of the people writing those comments don't even take the time to read the article. They just read the title and move on to the next one.

I see this alot, I really do try and make informative posts in the news section. I see a few people spamming, but to be honest those people probably will never get MVC because they more than likely wont be on the site for long ;)

Staff used to be more strict on this and would punish those that did spam useless shit in there.
Now with recent rule changes that has all been changed and the badge has become more meaningless and pathetic. There are people with the badge that shouldn't have it and it pisses me off to see that they can spam the examples you listed to achieve a badge others truly try hard for.
I suggested an idea here to hopefully clear the mess up but no responses.
