As many of you know AMD released the news on the new upcoming project called'Project Quantum' at E3 last week. As shown at AMD's own event, it was based upon an
Asrock Z97E-ITX motherboard paired with an Intel Core i7-4790K.
AMD said that the key reason that it used the Devil's Canyon chip in the Project Quantum machine is that they have tried listens to what customers want. This was announced as AMD's own Event
Will be interesting to see what the AMD fanboys have to say about this, i think its fair play to AMD for putting rivalries aside to listen to what customers what but they just look foolish. Personally i think this could of been delayed until AMDs new chips come out? Surely that would of been the more wiser option IMO.
What are your guys thoughts?

GFXMoon wrote if they dont use their own chip in their own product goes to show that amd chips are that badIts making them looking really bad lol, personally think they should of held off until new AM4 zen chips to come out but they wanna make more money in short spaces of time, plus i think them seeing it from a customers perspective rather than the competitor is a good thing because sticking a AM3 chip in such a high end project wouldn't be too wise.
