Try the following:
-Run TaiG Jailbreak as an Administrator
-Turn off Find My iPhone
-Free Up Storage Space on Your Device
-Turn off Touch ID and Passcode
-Turn on Airplane Mode while Jailbreaking
-Perform a Fresh Restore (Update OTA can cause issues with Taig) .

If your not going to restore your phone then don't bother jailbreaking because it seems that is the problem in this case

I waited 3 hours and it didn't work, restoring was the only thing that fixed it

Same with me. I get to 60% and it stays there. I did a restore as well, but still no luck. Currently trying to jailbreak it right now, and hopefully it works this time.

Ensure your iTunes isn't version 12.1, it has to be 12.0 in order for jailbreak to be successful.
