There is, but not as much as you would believe. 1 it's a RHD car, which a lot of people dislike for driving here in the U.S., 2 is after the costs of importing it is too expensive for the average person to want to buy the car really. Especially when there are new sports cars for the same money.

Im not saying you aren't telling the truth but I find it a little hard to believe that you are into exporting skylines from JP to the US.

Anyway onto the subject, I would say more people would be looking for an r34 rather than an r32. Thats just me, and to say weather or not they are in HIGH demand is tough to say because its all regional. Where I live I would say most people dont even know the difference between an r32 and r34, or even know what a skyline is. You know what I mean? If you post the ads online im sure someone will pick up on it and you might be able to make something happen.

Yeah don't worry I have only had this idea I am not in a position to do this at the moment I was only enquiring at this time, the reason I go for r32 is that it is now a classic in the US so it is legal to drive (as far as I know keep in mind I have only just thought of doing this) but thanks for the input I am still skeptical I understand where your coming from.

WCDT and myself have been talking about importing some old cars in the future, but you have to wait 25 years for them to clear.

By having a friend that works with me, he was stationed in yokota ab, Japan, and when he came back to the states he brought his R32 without a problem. But the money he spent on it buying it over there, the shipping, couple of mods so he can ship it here, he would make very little money if you're planing on selling it.

Good idea if you want it for yourself but trying to do it for profit is rare.

I can take a pic of his R32 when i get a chance if you want.

It cost between $1000-$2000 to import a car and that is determined by which coast you are on and what port. I have looked into importing e30 estates from the UK and it would cost $1500 to have imported to Newark NJ so it really is not as much as you think it would be. There are plenty of specialist in the US already that import them.
