Well in my opinion Dayz Standalone is better its more survival and in the mod you can just go buy it so if you want survival get Standalone if not get the mod. And dont buy it off steam get it off G2A

Mod is much better at the moment. Has more customization, the mod has mods lol. Less bugs etc & overall just a much better experience. Wouldn't recommend standalone until alpha is in later stages.

Alright I've played for hundreds of hours. They're both great games, but if you want to build a base or a house, and fly helicopters or planes, then get ARMA 2 with all the dlc. The community is better then Dayz SA. But Dayz SA is pretty good because its just a newer version without the mods and good fps. Longevity wise, get Dayz Mod, Dayz SA still has awhile until its completed.
