So i want to buy an SSD for my system but im unsure on something
i know there is ways top transfer windows from my main hard drive to the SSD but im wondering if its possible because i have the original windows disc to simply re install onto the SSD without losing the data from my old hard drive?

You can install a fresh OS on an SSD and still keep your old one. NOt sure why you'd want to but it's possible.
