I could tell it was just a few challenges thrown together before the Jeremy incident, yes some parts of it were still funny but it just wasn't the same. It was really sad to watch it with no Jeremy, no audience, no reasonably priced car, no car news, no banter. Also, not to mention how Hammond and May signed themselves off at the end of the episode, I was like wow? is that it? just 'bye'. I really wasn't expecting such a sloppy last episode.

I'm not a Top Gear fan and I've never watched the show but usually when big shows like that lose a highly important cast member there isn't much they can do to neatly end it. I think the show Deadwood is a good example of this so sure you can get mad but they were in a tough position to begin with.

Hammond and May didn't exactly want to do it
if you followed Clarkson on Twitter then he said that is is two films 'cobbled together'
and what did you expect? You knew it wouldn't be the same without Clarkson and that the news/star in a reasonably priced car were don on set up and the day before.
It wasn't proper, but better than nothing.

I didn't mind it, i still found the challenges amusing! Especially watching James May when he went over them bumps in the oval track, bounce around!

Obviously it was to be a lot different, but the films itself were not that bad.

It wasn't a goodbye from us, it was a good bye and F*** you to the BBC.

The episode was far from sloppy, yes it was sad to see just the empty shell of a studio, but they will be back sooner or later.

Was one of the funniest episodes/challenges for a hell of a long time IMHO.

Yea those were my exact thoughts that the challenges were great but the studio scenes seemed forced like there was no happiness there, there was a large elephant in the room.... literally they kept an elephant in the background in the studio

Watched it today when i was having my dinner
I kinda liked it found it pretty funny

One thing that really annoyed me is how it didn't end with Jeremy saying and on that bombshell

Kinda killed it for me even know that was the end but was p*ssed off for like an hour after it

They've obviously done that to sort of kill the Top Gear brand off. They're gonna go and do their own thing and be successful there, so what do they care.

Reasonably priced car is boring, No one watches Top Gear to find a car they want to purchase

Car news is pretty shit tbh.

best episode they done in a while 8/8.

I thought it was cool but I wish they did a regular show. The new car they were suppose to be testing was a new STi against a Golf R. But since you said no Jeremy, he was actually offered the job back but he refused it hence why they had the "elephant in the room" which was nicknamed Jeremy as well as it was a link to the whole ordeal that happened. I believe they're all going back to make another show again so I hope it will be as good as Top Gear
