I know but they have never had a stand out car.

Looks like I'm talking to a brick wall, then.

I have a 1999 Corolla and parts are super cheap and if you take care of it, it will last you till 500,000 miles.

No... it's the truth. When do you see a Honda NSX on the streets?

I have seen so many Supras, someone owns a MR2 and GT86 down my road, 2000GT is just very old and you'll never see one due to that.

I know a lot of kids like the Supra but it has been ruined.

Does that answer your question?

Would have to say no to that. What has Toyota ever made? i'd say the Previa is their best car...

saying they have no stand out cars is a pretty poor thing to say when in reality the only real sports car honda have made is the s2000 and nsx. And the s2000 is just basically a better mx5.

You also said you will never see a 2000gt so that it doesn't count but you said how many nsx's do you see(implying not many, IF any). See the problem with that?

I agree that the whole supra circle jerk is a bit much but it is the same with r34's and other skylines. I would rather an nsx over any toyota but that being said toyota make excellent cars and some of the most reliable with best bang for your buck.

I'd say honestly pick up a '99 Civic. Even if you're stuck with a SOHC D-series, it shouldn't blow up as easily as the Corolla of that same year would.

Yeah but Honda focus on bikes. "Honda has been the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer since 1959"

The NSX was all they needed.

Blown engine on a civic is a great way to learn more about your car. Swapping a motor on a car is not only an experience on its own, but doing it on a Civic is a great way to learn more about mechanics and improve on your DIYness (its totally a word) , They're very simply designed and fun to take apart! Not to mention replacement engines can be found in pretty much every wrecking yard across the world, being that people tend to wrap them around telegraph poles, can't handle that vtec y0.

OP: My choice would totally be a Civic!
