The type of robot that crushed the employee is usually kept in a cage. The man was working on the robot inside the cage when he was grabbed.

Then it's another humans fault for making the machine incorrectly/unsafe. Not the robot.

Maybe that's just what it wants you to think.

That does actually raise an interesting question.
Couldn't a robot who gained self awareness fake a technical fault in order to murder with minimal repercussions?
I'm not saying that happened here, but in the future it could be a problem.
