Ok so my disc drive is acting up and I'm not sure what the issue is. So my disc drive shows up in my device manager, but it won't pop up in my computer and of course won't read any disks. Does anyone know the issue?

Hmmm.. Well I am not sure then. Maybe somebody who is really smart can help you. Other then that i'd go to Best buy and see what they can do.

Is this a new build / component added to your PC? Make sure the sata cable is connected correctly to the sata port on the back of the drive (same for IDE drives). If this is the first time you're having this issue, make sure your drivers are up to date.
