If you accept that there is a high chance you won't make your money back, then there is nothing wrong with spending money on cases for the fun of it. Just don't get mad when you probably end up with less money than you started off with

I would say no. I you are most likely not going to make your money back. I learned a while ago that it's better to save for skins you actually like.Check out opskins. You can buy skins for pretty cheap.

Opening cases is so fun and addicting, but as said before, you hardly ever get anything worth the money. If you are wanting something in specific I advise you to buy it, but if you enjoy taking the risk and gambling on cases, then go for it! It is your money man, do what you want with it. Good luck if you do open cases!

Like people have said, opening cases is a waste of money. The odds of getting a red or a knife is low. Just do trade ups, at least you know that you will get a red skin, or whatever skin you are trading up to.

My Second ever case I got/opened a Marble Fade Gut knife.. spend about another £30 and got nothing, Sold the knife and spend another £40 on Cases and keys. Now left with a inventory worth £10. or less.
99% going to loose it but if its for fun and for a video make it more entertaining if you do Get something worth it (maybe a knife) you might aswell do it.
