Im getting my first car soon and ive been saving up my wages for the passed two months and ive got 1,000 to spend, i plan on spending it mostly on a kick ass sound system.
Im a total noob when it comes to this kind of stuff and all i know is im gunna need a sub and a amp. Not sure if anyone will be able to help but could someone point me in the right direction for purchasing this stuff (UK), and maybe some heads up for when i buy an amp for my chosen sub (i.e. what watt amp to look for) thanks in advance.

try car radio skipton, look online or add them on facebook
they are west coast customs of the UK. And there work is fantastic
They also have a wide range cd players, subs and amps.

I recommend a 1500 watt amp, and 2 15" Alpine subs. Alpine is one of the nicest in the world. To get that and have it all installed would be almost right at 1000 dollars. That's the setup I have, and it beats so loud that if the bass goes faster than your heart sometimes, you can't breathe. It's sweeet! : ) hope this helpsssss
