Python is a good programming language, but if you want to know if it is the best language then that depends on what you want to do. Give us some details on what you want to create and achieve and we might be able to give you some better advice.

If your are new to programming, then I would start with JavaScript. Khan Academy is awesome, and I have learned a lot!
