Hey man, the monitors to game is all about personal preference. In my suggestion, I would recommend using a 1080p monitor, but getting it in 144hz with a 1-2ms response time as it will not only look smoother in game, but the image of the game would look far better than a normal 60hz. If you are on the lean towards a 1440p monitor, Your GPU can support it so no worries there.

Obviously completely dependent on your budget. Don't pay attention to response time, it's a marketing scam. It's a bit confusing to get in to, but basically, when a 60Hz panel updates the image on screen, it is around 16.5ms after the last image. On a 120Hz panel, this number is halved, so an image will take just over 8ms to update. On a 144Hz panel, it'll take just under 7ms for the screen to refresh. You're going to have a harder time hitting a solid 140+FPS in games to make full use of a 144Hz panel, than you would running 1440p so I'd be taking a 60Hz 1440p panel over a 144Hz 1080p, any day.

I heard TN panels are better than IPS for gaming am I wrong or right?

I heard TN panels are better than IPS for gaming am I wrong or right?

TN panels are shittier quality than IPS panels, IPS have a much broader spectrum of colours and are also a lot sharper.

TN panels are more responsive but barely, and it's not noticeable. This is the argument people use behind "TN panels r betterer fur gaming tho". However, I'd much rather have a pleasant experience gaming, with a full range of colours and better viewing angles than dull colours and glare, with a slightly better response time(still won't be 1 or 2ms though) that I'm not even going to notice.

To be fair though, there are decent TN panels and bad IPS panels. Typically though, IPS offers a better experience with better colours and less glare. The viewing angles on IPS panels are much better. I could never go back to a TN panel because the glare makes me want to rip my tits off and they just look too dull for my liking.
