Pros

Same thing

Cons
More shipping Fee ( still less then normally )
Longer wait

But if you save £100 its worth it

My cousin actually works at an Apple store. I don't see him much so I go in to hang out sometimes, usually buy something small.

I asked him which Mac I should get, because I am starting college later this year. He told me not to get one, because of their performance and issues. If an Apple store employee doesn't want his family to buy one, then they obviously aren't worth much at all.

At the moment I have a Toshiba laptop. ( I'm awful with computers so I couldn't tell you much about it )

You could go for a Lenovo X series. For the price of a i5 Macbook you can get a i7 Lenovo (Refurbished/used).

They are also very good laptops, sold loads of them and never had any problems.

You can use a MacBook Pro for years. I've been using the same machine for the last 6 years. Never once had a problem with it.

Just know that the MacBook you choose could last you years.

My opinion: Buy a 2012/13 MacBook Pro with a SSD. Cheaper and still get the same experience.
