I know how you feel bud, I went to change my username yesterday but most were in use and inactive..
Should be removed after a certain amount of time in my opinion.

What difference does that make? I'm quite happy with my name so I don't need to be GG+ for the name I want. Your argument was that you were unable to secure a name you like not comparing gold gifts to other people, you seriously need to get your priorities straight if you think 2 more gifts than me is important.

Even if did Sean give them a notice, what if they come back after 1 or 2 years and see that their account has been deactivated because someone wanted the name they created?
It would be rather unfair wouldn't it?

Only GG+s can get to do this as we have spent quite a bit on the site and theres only 25 of us, not that many compared to Gold Gifters.

Im guessing this is Seans' way of giving back to us.

I see a lot of members that come back after like 2 years inactivity. They get gold and become a useful, good member. Imagine that was you and your name had been reset or taken away and someone else had it. I'd be pissed.
