When i try to join a public session it keeps putting me in story mode but with my online character. Yet i can launch a solo or invite only and it works fine. Anyone else having this issue?

Since you can launch a solo/invite only session fine I'm gonna say it is your connection
Try restarting your router and also if you have any other devices connected to your internet disconnect them you don't have to disconnect all them just some like I only disconnect my computer and it works fine after that

This has only been happening since i downloaded Ill Gotten Gains part 2. Before that it was fine. I have no newer devices connected than before that update and my connection is solid on any other game. As it was on GTA before the last DLC.
