Just spit-balling here but im pretty sure it has to do with campaign. The story has you playing through memories of your past and leading back to current day where I assume you escape from the testing facility/labs.

It could just be a part on the map..Jus like how they said things about parts A,B,and C in multiplayer..They could have names for certains spots of the ZOmbie maps that have different variations of zombies in them

or it could just be monkeys , dont think i could kill 7 of those things in 10 seconds lol , maybe a campaign mission like the chickens on mw2 :S , just a theory i dunno :S
