Can people please stop telling others to go use Alienware or some other rubbish prebuilt setup when we have a PC BUILDING section dedicated to stop people wasting their money like that?

OP:
Something like [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] would be pretty good.
You can currently get quite a high discount if you are buying it before the 16th. I would hurry up and snag this before the deals end.

Someone may come and offer a better build but I would be pretty happy with this overall.
My current build has a 970 and it maxes pretty much everything. The MSI variant is a really nice looking one as well.
The 4670K is a decent CPU, with some additional overclocking you can really get the most out of the chip.

If you don't manage to buy it before the 16th, check out the Amazon Prime deals going on. Apparently they have some really good discounts on high end GPUs.

I would go with this build big enough SSD, no overclocking though, doubt you'll be doing that. High enough wattage and great efficiency from the PSU, which will allow SLI in the future. The Define S is a much better case than the S340 some one else suggested imo. So yeah.

You kids must think that they're actually built by aliens or some shit? I wouldn't use an alienware to shit in, would be an insult to my ass.

Make the right choice and spend your $1k on this instead;

Use the 2x Pure Wings' fans in the front as intake. Keep the 120mm fan that's included in the rear as exhaust. Do what you wish with the included 120mm fan up top. You can use it as intake, exhaust or completely remove it if you wish, up to you.

Alienware computers are double the cost of what buying those same parts and building it yourself would cost. just build it yourself if you going to get a gaming computer
