I'm looking to build a PC, my price range is between £500 - £800

I'm completely new to this, Most of my friends play CSGO ect.. So I would like to join them.

I would be grateful for any help given, thanks

What will the system be used for exactly?
Will you overclock CPU/GPU/both/neither?
Do you need a monitor?
Do you need a keyboard and/or mouse?
Anything else?

Corsair has some nice Keyboard & Mouses
And for the monitor i recommend the Philips 227E
Nice little monitor, cheap and has 2MS Response time.

Never specified what it'd be used for other than CS:GO. 860k and 380 will be more than enough for CS:GO at 1440p. Included a 1440p panel, decent mouse and mech keyboard. You can easily add another 380 at any point.
