recently my computer has been slowing down a lot and after running scans they are picking up this thing called hacktool: win32/keygen I have had it removed many times but it keeps coming back I don't know how to get rid of it

What are you using to scan? Are you using malwarebytes, or an anti virus like Avast, etc.
(If you're not using malwarebytes you probably should give that a go!)

I solved it now and yes I ran malwarebytes around 3-4 times it was a keygen in my downloads folder

Delete your system 32 folder
But on a serious note, just reinstall the OS.

What is the name of the file that the scan is picking up Zequa?

Just because your AV marks a keygen as a virus doesn't mean it is. And if you delete it and it comes back then make sure your torrent client isn't just redownloading it when it rechecks files and sees that it's missing.

It's the same file as the original thread poster. It's something called hacktool: win32/keygen
