This is one thing that really bugs me about today's society. A lot of people will attempt/think about suing large companies for completely stupid reasons just to try and rack in some money from the company.
Heres a case that stood out to me and there are surprisingly a lot of stupid cases like this around the world:
I can see a point in suing a company if you have been harmed by their company and need extensive medical attention and are racking up medical bills, but suing companies because you order a 7up in french and they give you a sprite is just ridiculous. I can't stand people who attempt to sue companies for completely dumb reasons just to try and get some financial gain out of it.

The Federal Court of Canada on Wednesday ordered Air Canada to pay $12,000 to Ottawa French-language rights crusader Michel Thibodeau in part because when he asked an English-speaking flight attendant for 7Up in May 12 of 2009, he got Sprite.

Yep, people just want free money. They don't care who they take it from as long as it's easy and free.

I agree, it gets annoying how people sue for almost anything. Its sad to know people can take from others only because they "can"
