Title says enough I myself watch subbed and I don't think I can watch any anime dubbed. It just feels like I go to a pawnshop and try to buy a movie that recently came out then when you get home you realized its a person with a camcorder recording it with his unsteady hands and little kids screaming in the background. It just feels weird and that the quality of the anime is downgraded because the voice actors put no effort into it(pretty sure they put a lot of effort into it but you know what i mean). I know for most people that watch dub its like "I don't want to be reading while im trying to watch the anime". Well let me tell you, You get use to it really fast I can be on my phone while still knowing what happens in the anime(well that might just be me) but I'm just curios about other because I feel like the more hardcore fans watch sub and the people who watch only DBZ, Naruto and other "mainstream" anime prefer sub. Let me know prove me wrong or whatever

Now I can agree and disagree with this topic because I do like the effort and I see that there is effort in dub then I will watch in dub and that lets me do work while watching anime so..

I prefer subs, I just think it just makes anime way more intense in Japanese and I love the Japanese language, its so cool!

I prefer subs but there are anime out there that I enjoy the dub and don't care which I watch. Such as..

Angel Beats!
Clannad/After Story
Date A Live
Deadman Wonderland
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
Gurren Lagann
Spice and Wolf

That's pretty much it. More recently Nagi Asu. Got my collectors edition in yesterday. The dub is pretty good.

I like my shows subbed because I can feel some expressions and effort in the voice acting while dub is just a guys saying lines as if he was doing it for free

The only show i watch in dub is Dragon Ball Z (Yeah!thats right)

Make sense. The subbed version is awful. Goku's voice is just way too high pitched.

When I first started I preferred dubbed out of lazyness but realized the effort of reading the subs pays off. It just feels 100x better.
