Ford they generally don't rust that much. Chevy bumpers rust's out and Ram's i just don't see appealing.. I personally own a Ford F150.

I haven't driven many cars, so what I am going to say is directed to the half ton trucks.
I think Dodge has the best looking truck honestly. Ford has the next, and Chevy I'll have to wait until they come out with their next model. Their current brand new truck looks like a 5 year old truck to me. It is just an old body style.
I haven't driven a Chevy, but their newer trucks look nice. My brother had a '96 Dodge 1500 that drove like a brick, but it was also on a solid 6" suspension lift with 37" tires lol. My '97 F-150 drove like a dream stock. It drives alright, but I wouldn't want to be taking it cross country, the ride got a bit stiffer after the lift.
Dodge is known to have bad paint in general, so they rust really bad, Ford had their problems with the rockers (not sure if they fixed it in the 04-08+ models, but they had a problem with the 97-03 models). Chevys have their rust problems in the cab corners, and as someone else mentioned their bumpers.
I think Ford made the most reliable diesel engine (the 7.3L), but thanks to the hippies they had to get rid of it. They then made the 6.0 which had a bad name because of head bolts. Basically within the first 50k miles you would usually have an issue unless you replaced the head bolts. Some people like the Allison trans in the Chevy's, but I've heard and seen some pretty bad things coming out of them.
Ford had a BIG problem in their 04-08 F-150's with the 5.4L engines because they had a bad design to get oil to the cam phasers so they are known to go out. Dodge in the 94-02 models had hit and miss trannys. You would either get one that would last longer than you, or one that will break monthly. Not sure about Chevys issues because I've never driven or considered purchasing one.
Dodge came up with a good idea by putting a tiny diesel engine in a half ton truck to get better MPG, but what they failed to look at was diesel engines where meant to work. If you aren't working a diesel engine and just going to the store every day, then you will destroy that engine. Ford I think is on to something with their new aluminum body shaving up to 700 lbs of weight off the truck. They also have a great small engine that gets good gas mileage (2.7L ecoboost engine). Chevy is still stuck back when gas was relatively cheap, their smallest engine is a 4.3L engine. Really doesn't mean much beings they they all only differ by 1 or 2 mpg. It doesn't matter until you have to walk it I guess.
What I laugh at is that Fords 2.7L engine makes 283 HP, Dodge's 3.0L makes 240 hp, and Chevy's big ol 4.3L makes 285 hp. That's only 2 more HP than Ford (let's not even talk about Dodge) for having a 1.6L bigger engine.
Now on to towing. Ford has a towing cap of 11,000 LBS with the 5.0L engine, 3.73 gear ratio, and 16200 GCWR. Ram has a towing cap of 10,340 with a 5.7L engine, 3.92 gears, and a 6900 GVWR Chevy has a towing cap of 12,000 lbs, that's 900 lbs more than Ford, but they also use a monstrous 6.2L engine.
Ford has a max payload of 2,286 LBS, while Chevy has a 2,011 max. Dodge, well, I don't think we should shame them, but the Dodge has a max payload of 1,948 LBS.
Chevy has the most expensive truck starting at 26,150. Next would be Ford at 26,030. Then Ram comes in at 25,660. Keep in mind that these are the base model, single cab short bed truck. Not the high tech nice looking crew cab trucks with leather seats you see everyone driving.
I personally drive a '97 Ford F-150, and I plan on buying another ford when I sell mine next year. I will either be buying brand new, or buying a new, but slightly used, like a 2-3 year old truck.

Cummins... Simple as that xD
all diesels have thier4 goods and bads but I likw the cummins because it is the loudest of the diesels, and they r sexy as hell! Duramax and Powerstrokes have 8 cylinders while a cummins only has 6. Also the cummins lasts longer i think.
A perfect truck would be a Sterling body, Allison Transmission, and a beefy Cummins(My Opinion)

I honestly don't see a difference in any of those and all trucks look the same too besides minor front end cosmetics. 99% of the time the people who buy trucks work in an office or have no need for one in anyway they've become a fasion statement like those dumb lift kits

You can make any Diesel loud. Take out the cats and the mufflers. Fiat uses a smaller muffler on their trucks which is why the Ram trucks are a bit louder. If you want a loud engine you would go to Fords 7.3L. Also, Dodge is the only one that has a diesel in a half ton pickup. That is the v6. In their heavy duty trucks the diesel engines are V8's like Ford and Chevy. I lost respect for Dodge when they got bought out by Fiat though.
To me a perfect truck would be an OBS Ford with the 7.3L diesel engine (for a heavy duty truck).

I guess it's the type of person you are. I'm a truck guy so I see every difference in trucks but all cars look the same to me lol. It is sad how many people buy trucks and don't use them though.

Chevy. its simple. Fords are getting better but chevy is still on top. Chevy's cars are built better and usually have less problems. But its all about personal preference
