I give my thoughts on the recent suspension being upheld. What are your thoughts on the situation?

The discussion has so many fallacies. The report states that the suspension was made because it was more likely than not that Brady knew about the balls being deflated. The NFL did not state that the Patriots knowingly knew the whole situation. There is no evidence that specifically says that they did it intentionally. In the court of law, it's innocent until proven guilty. I have not heard of any solid proof, it has all been based off assumptions and hype because most NFL fans hate the Patriots and want them to crumble.

The three Super Bowls they received were also not stripped because the Super Bowls were not won during the Spygate era. The rule of not being allowed to record opponent's practices was made in 2006, a couple years after their third Super Bowl win. It was legal for them to spy on opponents before 2006 and a lot of teams did it prior and after 2006. Why would their forth Super Bowl be stripped anyways? The balls were checked during the Super Bowl and were the legal limit the whole game. Would be it logical to just strip it and hand it over to the Colts? The Seahawks lost the game and the playing field was equal for both New England and Seattle, Seattle would not get a Super Bowl to their name in any situation.

Lastly, the suspension of four games was part of the whole situation. The Patriots lost a first round pick, as well. That's a pretty valuable pick for any team. The Patriots did not get away luckily.

If you think that I am just trying to defend Brady because I like him, that is also false. You claim that you aren't upset about the Super Bowl as a Seahawks fan, you just want things done correctly. I would like things to be handled correctly, too. Of course it's easy for me to state claims of Brady being innocent, but I am not bias, either. If there is evidence that Brady knew about the deflated footballs, then I do not have a problem of him being suspended. But what the NFL is saying is that Brady is being suspended because they think he knew and are assuming he knew. Until there is evidence and not a theory, I believe Brady has a reason to appeal and should not take the punishment willingly.

He did appeal, and lost, so he will serve his 4 game suspension and come back week 6 (because of the week 5 BYE) and dominate just like he always has, the Patriots have nothing to worry about. They still run the Conference and will compete for another Championship, Patriots fans need to chill, there's nothing to worry about. Also there has never any court ruling or decision ruled with 100% concrete evidence, it's impossible. But that's not why he's being punished totally, he didn't cooperate fully while looking guilty the entire time with all of the News Conferences, the way he worded his replies and all. And last Tom Brady was asked to show texts that had anything to do with deflated footballs, not to handover his phone, but to just show any and all text only relating to the time and situation of "Deflate Gate".

Side Note: Wtf are you talking about the Seahawks and colts deserve to be named winners? No one said nothing of the sort.

Brady and his deflated balls.... So sad....

Either way, with the score of 45 (Patriots) to 7 (Colts) I don't think there was much of a chance had the balls been properly inflated.

I also don't think it's fair to only be punishing Brady. The NFL has people who are supposed to be checking the PSI in the balls before they go into play. You know that the coach, and the ball boys where also at fault, if not more people. Either way it won't matter much to the Patriots. They take a little fine and a penalty to their QB in the start of the season. Big whoop, look at everything they got out of the super bowl lol.

He appealed to the NFL to overturn it and they upheld it because they felt that there was nothing new added to the table. He still has a chance to make a stronger case in court which he could. It's not about just taking the suspension and still being successful either. Patriots fans don't want to see their franchise star take something that will always be negative on his resume. Finding evidence to rule a case 100% is not impossible, it has been done many times. Videos of domestic violence is a great example. Under no circumstance should a women be assaulted, if a video is shown of domestic violence, it is 100% in favor of the victim. Plus, the Patriots seem to be the only team that would get this punishment. Rodgers claimed that he liked his balls over the legal limit, Chargers added stickiness to their gloves, Falcons pumped in fan noise, those teams did not get stripped of a first round draft pick and a four game suspension.

I also don't see why his body language or wording in a public news conference would be a huge factor in him being guilty. The Patriots have always stressed their guys to be careful with the media. I think anybody would be pretty cautious with their words because one fallacy would be blown out of proportion and it would make the case worse, also the fact that the public should not know anything that is potentially pending in court because that alters the situation if the word is out publicly. Brady's been destroying his phone every four/five months for the past 20 years, he has a legitimate reason to why he destroyed it, it is just up to what the judge feels.

All I have to say is that Brady is right for fighting for his legacy and all the facts should be looked at before everybody starts making grand assumptions such as them straight up cheating against the Colts. Maybe they did, but it is not confirmed. If there is evidence that it happened, then I guess everybody is right that Brady cheated. Aaron Rodgers defended Ryan Braun on PEDs and the truth was found in the end, therefore I am not going to say 100% that Brady is completely innocent. Anything is up for grabs.

The person in the video said that the Patriots should be stripped of the Super Bowl. What I was addressing was the solution to that. Who would you award the Super Bowls to? Colts would not get it because they lost prior to the Super Bowl and Seahawks would not get it because they lost in a game where the playing field was equal for both. I don't think the NFL would have a blank spot filled in for 49, either.
