So after windows 10 was installed my second monitor would turn on but it wasn't being detected. I tried a number of things but all I had to do was restart my pc. I am posting to let anyone know so they don't waste to much time if they have the same issue.

same happened with me kinda, wouldnt detect 2nd monitor and it put my main monitors resolution to like 800x600 when its supposed to be 1920x1080 lol

I didn't have this problem, but it did reduce the refresh rate on my main monitor from 75Hz to 60Hz, which was an easy fix. But thats it for me

My resolution was messed up on windows 10 but other than that it was fine. Only had that problem on windows 7. Try using the other end of the vga/hdmi//etc.
