Well yeah, if you want to compare top of the line of X brand with bottom of the line Y brand, X brand is bound to be better isn't it lol.

Not to the logic of TURB0. He said i8= electric = crap and I'm trying to say that it isn't with similar specs to the 911. If he's saying hybrids are crap then the P1, LaFerrari and 918 must also be shit... I certainly wouldn't consider the 911 to be the bottom of the line in Porsche seeing as how it's been around for 50 years and still they're best selling car. The i8 is for long distance luxury driving not speeding around a track so it's obviously not going to have the specs that the GT3 will.

Electric is crap. My grandpa had to replace the battery pack in his Prius, 3k bill. Electrical things are easier to break, they are harder to fix, which means there are more expensive to fix. Now slap a BMW logo on it, and you better win the lottery.

All electric cars are yes, but hybrids aren't, battery packs are expensive and I'll never drive a hybrid, but electric engines produce insane torque, more than gas engines most of the time. And they are useful when it comes to launching off the line like that one Tesla that launches off the line faster than the P1. They just cost a lot to maintain over a period of time

I guess I don't need to be spinning tires taking off from a red light. I also like sitting by a big tank of explosive fluid, I'm just dangerous like that.

I love both cars and trucks. It would be nice to have an awesome daily driver (a car) then have truck as well.
