I have been having a lot of issues with downloading anything larger than 4gb. Games, Windows ISO files, anything. It's really annoying and all of my googling has lead me nowhere (nothing has helped at all).

Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. I have no idea what the issue is or how to fix it. I would just reformat the hard drives like I usually do when I have any issues but reinstalling 600gb of games is not the way I want to spend the next 2 days... yes it's really 2 days. My internet is -10/10

1st download some type of PC cleaner, such as CCleaner. If that doesn't work make sure your Hard-Drive is not partitioned. If none of those help, all I gotta say is that you make have to Re-Format. I'm pretty sure you could not possibly play all 600GB of games.

I had a recent issue with this when I noticed 480gb of space was missing. I simply loaded up TreeSize and it showed me that it was all on one file, that file being System Volume Information.

I suggest you download TreeSize to see what your space is allocated to and if it turns out it is System Volume Information you can use the following video in order to delete it to regain your hard drive space.

What is the file system? FAT32 does not allow file sizes above 4GB.

My hard drives are all split into two partitions because I dualboot Mac and windows. I believe the file system is ExFat. I'm going to reformat my drives today because windows 10 gave my dualboot a load and a half of issues.
I'll try CCleaner before I redo everything. Also if I reformat I'll be doing one drive at a time and moving all of my games and stuff to the newly formatted drive. Thanks for the help everyone! Much appreciated.

ExFat has a maximum file size of 16 exabytes, so the limitation is imposed by something else if you're using ExFat.

Just got home from work
I reformatted one of the drives with not much on it and was then able to move large files over. Do you think a virus of sorts could create this kind of issue?

No because it has no reason to. I don't know of anything else that would create a limit like that.

Weird, I have no idea what's doing it then. I think it's fixed now. Thanks for the help r00t
