TTG-BiiGMoNeY wrote You could buy something more reliable & cheaper to fix for a first car. Trust me BMWs are a pain in the ass, especially older ones as they do NOT last long at all. A friend of mine used to work for BMW as a Mechanic, the type of shit he saw with them was unbelievable.
Well he was obviously not a very good mechanic, BMWs are German. People will disagree but Germany is the king of cars, they're known for reliability.
Sure parts are expensive on new ones but old ones? cheap and if you have half a brain you will be able to do most mechanical work without training.
Back to OP, sure it's a nice car but get something shitty as your first and upgrade as you go along.

Just because a company is based out of a certain region does not mean it is built right. BMW is just a Big Money Waster. To be completely honest with you, this BMW 328i is just an over priced Nissan Altima. They look the same besides the grill and emblems.

And you have no idea what you are talking about. BMWs are a completely waste of money, used ones are even worse, they are abused they are shit cars and a waste of money.
