Great. Now I want a **** 6600k. BLAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
10% improvment over a 4690k, maybe even less. No real need to upgrade in all honesty. It would be nice, but Kaby Lake and Zen are coming about mid 2016(apparently) and Cannonlake is coming in 2017(again, apparently). Best waiting for one of them to upgrade, at least, IMO. For new rigs however, Skylake is pretty boss. Overclocking on Skylake is going to be much better, motherboards are nicer and it has DDR4 support but that's not worth the upgrade IMO, unless you have cash to burn or you have a fairly old CPU.

The CPU is around a 10% improvement, but you can overclock it as well for better performance. The Pure Rock is a good budget cooler but you'll want to upgrade to get the fullest out of the 6600k. The Pure Rock will be fine for now though.

Was just watching benchmarks haha. But when you have the money, it eats you alive. Even though its a small gain and not worth it, my cpu is now not the best i5. Ughh
