Here is a build of that computer...
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Cost: $454.58

Notes: I couldn't find a case but you have around $150 dollars left,
There is a windows dvd included but if you wanted to cut cost you could have torrented.

From the looks of it, you got scammed like you normally do with prebuilts.

I do not use PC Part Picker.. I only order from newegg.com and if you do that build on newegg it is more. I dont trust any other site besides newegg and amazon...

Newegg sometimes has high prices. This topic is very flawed.

The pre-built you bought is $550. In reality, it is $400. You over payed by $150 and it still is shit.

Please MOST, if not all, pre-builts are overpriced and shit. Done.

Well then that is your fault, pcpartpicker finds the lowest prices for a certain part. You bought all of your parts from newegg when you could have got them for a cheaper price somewhere else.

Actually in my post above this one I prove my point is valid.. Please read the whole forum before posting a false claim... His price is inaccurate because it has prices from untrusted sites.... I dont order from any other site except Newegg as I have said before This post is becoming more of a argument than I had anticipated. All I wanted to do with this post is to inform people that SOMETIMES SOMETIMES!!!!! It is cheaper to buy a PC than to build AS IT WAS TO MY CASE FROM NEWEGG.COM!!!!! I DONT CARE WHAT PCPARTPICKER SAID!!! IN MY CASE FROM NEWEGG IF I HAD TO BUILD IT IT WOULDVE BEEN MORE FROM THIS WEBSITE THAN TO BUY IT!!

This is some of the funniest shit I've ever seen, thanks OP.

Just an FYI, if you're getting butthurt about "untrusted sites", take a look at this;

It even has a better case and is sub $400(without PSU). As for OS, you can get it for free or buy a key for $30. The PSU used in that PoS pre-built is probably worth $20, tops. So, $430 for the rig you paid $600 for. Ouchie hun.
