Hey guys , so recently I've been getting really bad wifi signal on my phone (samsung galaxy s4) and my phone alone. I don't know why but I know for a fact that it seems that the signal strength has gotten weaker on my phone. I've tried ever way to fix the signal strength and I fiddled with the wifi settings on my.phone as well and no luck. My brother has the same phone and his is still getting perfect signal from the router while I'm sitting here getting 1 bar connection even though our rooms are right next to the router. Please help Lol. Thanks friends!

Hall_Moniter wrote Well, id say the thingy tbat connects to the router is messed up, or your phone is just slow... is it slow when connected to other wifi/data as well
My phone works like a champ when I use my data, the problem is only here at home, with my router

I would make sure that there isn't anything that can interfere with the router such as; wireless mice/keyboards, microwaves, or wireless DVR set-tops for cable.

Maybe the channel frequency isn't right for your phone, I would go to your router page and change the WiFi channel.
There are a vast number of ways you can improve your router connection not just for you but for everyone all depending on the type of router you have.
Also try resetting your phone's network settings, and try to avoid putting your hand over the spot on the phone where the WiFi chip is.
