To be honest it entirely depends on what's available in your area.

Search local jobs and apply to the ones which you think you might be okay at and possibly enjoy.

And if you ever need advice on interviews and CV's be sure to check out my thread on the topic: Forums/t=7302321/job-interviews-e...-know.html

Best of luck!

Any fast food place honestly. One of few places that hire anyone experience or not.

Sorry m8 my first job was at a McDonalds and I am sure most peoples first job was either fast food or doing dishes in a restaurant.

You could try to be a babysitter if that floats your boat but I don't know how to even get started doing that but I live in a bad neighborhood so no one trusts strangers with their kids here lol.

Hotels are decent because they will have many jobs to select from and a chance to move up..

Working on the bar, working in a kitchen or front of house.

Plenty of options.

You could always do something like baby sitting if you love kids.

Woodzy, I would have to agree with Dusknoir. Fast food skills transfer everywhere, as you really learn to deal with unhappy people and you learn a lot of discipline. I worked for Wendy's for a long time and it was hard work, but rewarding work. Work that got me from fast food, to working at office max, to working for Best Buy Geek Squad, to becoming their lead sales specialist and onwards. Take on the tough challenge of fast food for a year, I believe everyone has to at some point in their life.

Put an ad out for general labor. Mow lawns, split wood, what ever. Through doing that you may find a few people who can open a few doors for you. From doing that I can go different directions when I turn 18.
