Everybody remembers the children's cartoon on PBS called The Bernstein Bears. However, lately a mass conspiracy has come up. Millions of people believe to remember the spelling as "Bernstein." However, most evidence online, along with all hard copy evidence shows the spelling to be "Bernstain." Now adults remember reading the books as children with the spelling of Bernstein, but now their books all show the spelling as Bernstain.
Many people believe that this means we're all living in an altered reality because somebody went into the past after the show had finished airing and after children stopped reading the books to change the letter from an 'e' to an 'a.' Some people also believe that somebody went back in time to, for instance, save the world from something catastrophic, and this was a result of it because of the butterfly effect.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] from September 12, 1985 shows the show being spelled with an 'e' under Saturday. This isn't technically proof, because the paper could have simply made a mistake in their posting.
Now, the interesting thing about this is that one of two things is happening. Either we are living in an alternate reality, or there is a mass memory failure going on of millions of people.
What is your input? Do you believe something has changed in our reality, or are a whole lot of people fussing about nothing?

Edit: in an attempt to post a picture side by side of the shows logo with each of the spellings underneath, I have made a discovery. The picture with the 'a' has posted just fine, but the picture with the 'e' refuses to post. It's a perfectly good website and it ends in .jpg. There is no reason it shouldn't post. Try it for yourself, the link is [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Edit: It also won't let me post the url to be clicked. To find the picture, simply google image search "The Bernstain Bears" spelled with the new spelling. It will be the first result.

It seems as if Sean is adding to the conspiracy. TTG just might very well be a front for the CIA to brainwash gaming teenagers.

Cokes wroteMy thoughts exactly. I always knew there was more to "Sean" than meets the eye, if that's even his real name...trippydman wrote Edit: in an attempt to post a picture side by side of the shows logo with each of the spellings underneath, I have made a discovery. Even if this is true, millions of people seem to be remembering the exact same thing. When doing research, very few if any people claimed to remember it being spelled with an 'a.' It's an unusual thing going on either way.

so by that you conclude that the only two plausible options are that we have all been transported to another reality where everything remains the same bar the spelling/pronunciation of the PBS TV show "the Berenstain Bears" or that we have all suddenly lost our memory all simultaneously, again about nothing except this Cartoon. I see.

This spelling could be the only thing we've noticed so far. There could be more to come. But please, give me an alternative to my two ideas. If it didn't somehow change and people aren't somehow remembering this incorrectly, solve the problem.

The alternative is that which I have already stated. Or if you really struggle to believe that people are just not remembering the name through common human error, another explanation off the top of my head that is still far less laughable than your propositions is that the owners of the show (for whatever reason it may be) may have decided to change the name on the sly. Not that I even care about this show or even know it for that matter, just I am intrigued why you are going so far off the deep end with your solutions.
