Build one. I know you said you're busy , but it takes 2 hours. Especially with your budget, you can get something that out performs every PC on IBuyPower.

Do I really need to say that for $2k that's terrible? And you do understand that's under a "Pay per Month" which usually overcharge and hike up the interest based on a flat % which over time makes you sometimes spend 2x the amount you want.



OP: Save yourself $100-$200 and built it yourself, It doesn't take as long as you think. Watch some videos on YouTube (I recommend LinusTechTips) it doesn't take more than 30m-1hour if you read the instructions and are careful.

As for warranty, Warranty is something that is good and bad.

Good because you're covered, but bad because not everything is usually covered as it depends on the company, and they usually overcharge way more than they should on it.

I've build my own PCs for years now, and got it down to around 20-30 minutes max to do a full build, and it's a nice skill to have.

Here's a build that will suit your needs as well as look good in the process. If you're also willing to shell an extra $90ish you can pick up some custom sleeved cables to make it look even better. I'd recommend a full set from [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

So far, out of all the major pre-built company's CyberPower is the cheapest in terms of overcharge. Be sure to look into all the options and not just pic randomly. I'd recommend skipping out on Windows which they auto-charge $60 for, which you should spend on an extra case fan. I'd also change out the CPU cooler they provide with the H100i. The H440 is a case where there are limited ventilaztion on the front and top, it's only on one side making it harder to push air through.

You can always get a different case, I'd SERIOUSLY look into each one before choosing one. It's what you'll be seeing all the time. Airflow matters.

I'd seriously recommend checking out the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] fans and replacing them. You will need more Static Pressure optimized fans on the CPU cooler to push air through. The ones provided do not even compare to the Vardars.



TL;DR

Don't go pre-built, for less than $2k you can build a better system, and if you seriously wanted you could through in another 980Ti and still be under your max $2,500. But if you can't, go with the link I provided as they're not scamming you by overcharging for support/warranty like most of the others do.

I'd seriously think about this before just going and buying anything. 1hour is not alot of time, and certainly not worth spending an extra $100-$200 and on some sites, over $500 just for someone else to build it.

I know you said you didnt need a monitor but I've included a nice 4k monitor as it was within your budget. You can remove it if you want. Has 250gb SSD, 3tb HDD. You can easily add another 980ti in SLI.

I REALLY wouldn't put in the Amp Extreme in there. Yeah, it's an amazing card with a SUPER HIGH headroom for overclocking, but it is heavy. Very heavy for a GPU.

It needs a metal bar to just stand upright and not sag.

I would not think of getting one but rather maybe the ACX Superclocked or the Strix. Both overclock very well, and are actually able to SLI.

You cannot have 2 of the bars in your case at once.

I agree with vDubbzy for the build, but I would get the G1 gaming 980Ti as it is one of the best coolers for a card (I have G1 970) and it will fit in well imo.
Also black RAM to look a bit better.
