I completely agree with you on this shit. I just got my pay stub today at $684.83 for the past two weeks and I only got $534.00 out of it. THATS A $150.00 that I basically did for nothing. Thats about 2 and a half ish days of my two weeks. THATS BULLSHIT. It pisses me off so **** much. America is absolutely **** with taxes. Had to pay taxes when I bought my car USED. That cars been taxed 4 times now. 4 TIMES! Best part? This **** country is still in trillions of debt.

You gotta remember, you're gonna get a tax return at the beginning of the year.. even though you're not getting everything back, you'll get a bit back.

I know, but still, I am only gonna get like $400-600 ish back, federal withholding and social security rape me the most. And in WI atleast, you only get back from medicare employee and WI- Withholding.. It **** sucks dude.

I don't think we're taxed on lottery wins in the UK. It's not money earned so why would we?

Winning the lotto in the states basically means youll get half of your big wins haha. Its bullshit. The US is so unbelievably screwed up with taxes. Thats one thing the UK does better, ill admit that haha.

You know why we pay these horrible taxes and we are still trillions in debt? The government dilly dallys with our money, spending it on useless causes trying to take away our liberties such as the second amendment, or they try and bail out companies such as GM. Oh yeah, then you have wealth redistribution. This is where we will make you homeless because the other guy is homeless and he needs a welfare check because all of his panhandling money goes to cocaine.

As far as lotto winnings, yeah it sucks, but you didn't really earn that. It still sucks seeing 400k being taken out of your check, but you get 600k free lol.

In the UK anyway not to sure about the US

In the UK it's so different, I believe you've to earn a certain amount before tax, I think its 10K a year before you start getting taxed

I think you are correct. I always thought it was just over £7000.

My other half usually makes just over £1300 a month and she gets underpaid and taxed like £200 every pay check, never an explanation as to why.
