My little cousin recently bought an Xbox One, and doesn't have many games. I have some games I would like to give him, and I know you can license transfer, but does license transferring lead to account ban ?

If license transferred equals a ban, then why would Microsoft create license transferring... They will, however, ban you if you overdo it because it will be classified as marketplace theft. But it doesn't have a high punishment rate, so I wouldn't sweat it

Using an xbox the way it's supposed to be used isn't going to get you banned...

Na you're good as long as you don't go on about doing it for a friend so he can get it for free. It's known as fraud and you can get banned. I've done it around 15 times.
