I actually *really* like tattoos, but they aren't exactly viewed as professional. The only tattoo I want is the OWSLA logo, it's really dope and my dream is to get a contract with them. Otherwise I probably won't get one.

imgur wroteATL_Braves wrote Do not get one. My parents have always preached the fact then when you 50+ you will regret it majorly. I mean the ink is permanent and doesn't look good with saggy skin
If that's what you're worried about when you're 50+ then you're lucky.
Looks fade man, chances are you aren't going to be looking very good when you're that old anyway so who care if the tattoos you had when you were young don't look 100% when you don't?
They're gonna serve as a reminder of your youth, and to me that means a lot.
Reading this reply has made me even rethink about it, everything this guy has said is so true, why care what people think of you if it makes you happy at the end of the day, Then don't let anyone take that from you!!, and tattoos are not just ink it can show people what you have been though or your memories or loved ones so don't think about age, think about what makes happy, Really good reply "imgur"..

I hate tattoo's. To me the meaning of them is pointless. "I tattooed myself because this has a lot of meaning to me". Yeah? I have a lot of crap that means a lot to me, and I ain't tattooing myself up. Maybe you are stupid and you fear you will forget it? IDK.
Another thing is I hate it when a tattooed person works at a fast food place and is handing me my food. They look dirty and tattoo's are not professional at all.
When you get a tattoo you are making yourself more recognizable, and unemployable. Don't believe me? What do you have to put on a lot of application? "scars, marks, or tattoos?". An employer has the right not to hire you because as I said tattoo's do not look professional and may damage their company name.
Don't get all butt hurt about what I said guys, these are facts.

I'm not into tattoos because as you age they fade and the skin sags as said above but also because eventually I feel they make you look awkward when the black turns into a giant green splotch on your body.

I have one atm on my ribs, I'm wanting to get more in the future, just don't know what or where.
I would suggest NEVER rushing to get one, and always remember quality is key, so if you have to pay a little extra then go for it.

I wouldn't get one, although I don't see them as a 'bad' thing to have too many people do.
