I agree that CoD designing and as you call it, the graphics train is a difference but lets be real here. This is nowhere close to CoD graphics as you like to call it, I really don't see why you complain at the CoD community, because every experienced CoD designer, you would also call good. You just gotta realize that this isn't CoD graphics.

The CoD graphics community are just keeping alive a, very dead style, the designers need to know that continuing a dead style will not get them the recognition that they, possibly, could deserve if developing a unique style.

I have been in the CoD graphics community, I know what it is like to try and "fit in" with others at a higher level, but I found it much better to put more effort into it and work harder, in result, creating a piece that feel more rewarding and that will get more recognition.

I am speaking from past experience. There are designers that are in the CoD community that have huge potential but they stick by their original style and are very cautious when trying new styles.

It is not a rant it is simply "advice" on what I think they should do in order to progress. In regards to "You just gotta realize that this isn't CoD graphics." Some of the styles in there have been born through CoD graphics, for example, the overuse of flares. Flares can be used to enhance a photo-manipulation, not to underline text in a banner.

I hope you get where I am coming from, OP it is your first time as you have said but I hope you take this into consideration if you are think of taking graphics seriously.
