I'm looking for a good antivirus. Preferably not the free version of avg or avast. I had the paid version of avg but of course i didn't pay and somehow I got a pop up on my computer from avg saying they know I'm using an illegal copy. So any idea how they found out? And I could use a link to a good antivirus with the serial keys and all that
I'll plus rep, thanks in advance

Has worked wonders for me in the past and has some really nice features.

UI is great too.

If you visit the website it would seem like its free, clicked on a few things and didn't find anything about having to purchase a "premium" upgrade or so like other av's. Didn't download it so can't confirm but it looks like more than likely its a free program

you tried it yet?
was thinking of a new antivirus myself

i still use AVG free, but if 360 total security works wonders, i'll have to un-install one of them ._.

It all comes down to your PC Specifications if you have a decent computer I would suggest using Kaspersky as it uses a complex configuration and a blend with detection/prevention capabilities. However if your PC Specifications aren't so good I would suggest looking into ESET because it is very light on your system and runs excellent on any OS and almost any system ; detection is excellent also the default settings are very good for the average home user. (These are premium paid AV suites)

I have linked both of the anti virus suites below where you can download a free trial and make your choice to which one you prefer before purchasing, personally I use kaspersky and I have never been infected by important/harmful malware in my four years of using it.
