I want to become a gold member here on TTG and i was wondering if i could use a prepaid American Express gift card on a PayPal account. I would aslo like to know how to verify the card.

I believe you could use the giftcard to verify your PayPal.

I would assume the money should then transfer over. You are then eligible to send money and buy stuff with your PayPal once it is verified.

I dont believe you can setup paypal without creditcard mate!

I have now put the card onto my account. The problem is i dont know how to verify it. PayPal says that there is a 4 digit code in the transaction history next to were they charge you $1.95 and there is no code on mine.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Are you sure you're not mistaking that for the last four digits on the card?

Yes. It says that to activate the card for use on paypal that i need to confirm it with that 4 digit code that was sent in a transaction.
